Our Journey
Sides, Sweets & Co has a story for every bite.
Our founder raised her children in a deeply Jewish, Chassidic community, so many of our dishes come straight from those years—warm, nostalgic recipes like the ones you’d find on a Shabbos table or at a simcha, passed from bubby to mother to daughter. Later, her journey took them to Israel, where she fell in love with the bold flavors of the Middle East: fresh herbs, bright salads, spicy dips, and fragrant spices.
Funny enough, her Ima's specialties were boxed macaroni and cheese and a meat stew. Her Aba was the real chef in the family—but he never wanted anyone else in the kitchen. Our founder eventually found her own way around the kitchen, and as a mom of six, she ended up doing a lot of cooking—testing, tweaking, and perfecting recipes day by day.
Today, our menu is a beautiful mix of all those worlds—Ashkenazi comfort, with Sefardic (Middle Eastern) color, and a whole lot of heart—coming together in one happy, delicious place.
Note: We currently do not have Kosher certification but all ingredients, utensils, bakeware, oven and entire kitchen are 100% kosher.
